CONTROLS IN DESCRIPTION

Cavern of Souls is a 2D platform shooter / boss rush, where "failure is progress". Collect souls from enemies and spend them on upgrades after you die. You have to die to give your descendants a fighting chance against the demons below!

This idea was somewhat inspired by the mechanics of Infinity Blade, which was an IOS "boss rush" in the 3rd person, where you fight the same enemies as your ancestors.

Controls

You can play with either a keyboard, or a controller.

Keyboard

[P]: Pause the game.

[A] [D]: To move left or right.

[Space}: To jump.

[E]: Interact or push menu buttons.

[W]: To point up.

[S]: To crouch.

[J]: To shoot.

[K]: To roll or air dash (when unlocked)


Controller

[Start]: Pause the game.

[Left D Pad] [Right D Pad]: To move left or right.

[A}: To jump, or push menu buttons.

[X]: Interact

[Up D Pad]: To point up.

[Down D Pad]: To crouch.

[Right Trigger]: To shoot.

[Y]: To roll or air dash (when unlocked)

Nice idea, but it feels very hard to shoot
